  • Things to do when you travel to Bangladesh Part 1

Bangladesh is a country that is not commonly visited by travelers. However, I highly recommend you visit this beautiful country! Below is a list of things to do when you go to Bangladesh.

Day 1 - Arrive and Explore Dhaka City

    Arrive in Dhaka

Arrive in Dhaka and get a taste of Bangladesh culture. Explore the city and see a mosque, museum, or other cultural landmark. You can even visit the Bangladesh National Museum (or any of the museums in this list!).

Day 2 - Travel to Sundarban

You need to reach Sundarban from Dhaka. There are many transport options available from Dhaka. You can take bus, private car or hiring a private speed boat. The journey takes around 2-3 hours and it's worth it!

Once you reach the Sundarban, you can roam around for hours on end by foot or kayak until your heart is content. And if that's not enough then go back to the city in style by riding on a traditional dinner cruise ship which will take you back home after an enchanting evening of music performance by local artists on board with dinner buffet served in style under the twinkling stars at night!

Day 3 - Explore the Sundarbans National Park

The Sundarbans National Park is a UNESCO world heritage site. It is located in the Ganges Delta, between the Bay of Bengal and the Rupnarayan River. The park covers an area of 10,000 km2 and has several islands within it.

The riverine forest or mangrove forests are home to a wide variety of plants, animals and birds. The Sundarbans National Park is also one of the last refuges for endangered species like tigers, crocodiles and dolphins.

The best way to explore this national park is by boat trip from Khulna city (around 1 hour drive from Mongla port). You can hire a boat from Khulna city which will take you all over Sundarban forest with professional guides who can explain about flora & fauna along with birds.

Day 4 - Trip to Katka, Kachikhali, and Baro Bakiabhanga

    • Day 4: Katka, Kachikhali and Baro Bakiabhanga

Katka is a village in the Sundarbans. It is a great place to see the wildlife and also meet some of the local people who live there.

Kachikhali is a smaller village but still has lots of wildlife around it as well.

Day 5 - Return from Sundarban to Dhaka

On day 5, you will leave the Sundarbans and head back to Dhaka. After having a good time in the forests, you'll be ready to return home.

If you still have some time left before your flight leaves, explore some of the sights of Dhaka. You might want to visit Baitul Mukarram National Mosque and then enjoy a meal at New Market (or if it's nighttime when you arrive, near Shahjalal International Airport).

Your final stop on this trip should be Shahbag Square where thousands gather every Friday afternoon for demonstrations against religious extremism and child marriage.

Have an amazing time when you travel to Bangladesh !

You should visit Bangladesh. The best way to travel in Bangladesh is by road. You can hire a taxi or rent a car from anywhere in the country. This will take you from Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet and Cox's Bazar airport through the river port at Mongla.

The Sundarbans National Park has an amazing view of nature and wildlife, so it is recommended that you visit this place as soon as possible!

You must explore the park with an experienced guide who knows about the dangers lurking in this area and how to keep yourself safe while walking around here!

    Conclusion

I hope this article has helped you plan your trip to Bangladesh. It is a beautiful country that I have enjoyed visiting many times, and I believe it is worth visiting for its history, culture, and nature.
